Ultralight TPU construction reduces rolling resistance by 14% and weight by 70% compared to butyl – switching to the Ultra Light Speed Inner Tube saves up to 160g of rotational mass on a complete bike– an unbeatable ratio of weight reduction to cost. Due to its ultralight, extremely supple qualities, TPU requires special care when mounting (please see the installation and inflation instructions included with the tube) and is only suitable for use with disc brake wheels. However, in the BMX category only (race and pump track), this product can also be used on bikes with rim brakes.
