Meybo Holeshot 2027 BMX Race Frame (G14.0)
The Meybo Holeshot has been part of the Meybo range since the early years of the brand and has developed continuously alongside modern BMX racing.
Built around proven race geometry, the Holeshot offers a balanced combination of performance, durability and predictable handling. This makes it an accessible race frame for riders at every level, from young racers taking their first steps on a custom BMX race bike to experienced riders looking for a competitive and reliable race setup.
Over the years, the Holeshot has never stopped evolving. Modern materials, updated tube profiles and technical improvements have kept the platform moving forward, while maintaining the trusted ride characteristics that have made the Holeshot an important part of the Meybo range for generations.
Today’s Holeshot combines that experience with modern 6061-T6 multi-butted hydroformed aluminium tubing and size-specific construction, creating a lightweight, stiff and responsive BMX race frame.
Size-Specific Alloy Construction
The Holeshot is constructed from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium using butted and hydroformed tubing.
Butted tubes have different wall thicknesses along the length of the tube. More material is used where additional strength and stiffness are required, while less material is used in lower-stress areas. Combined with hydroformed tube profiles, this allows the frame to achieve an effective balance between weight, stiffness and durability.
Frame construction is adapted throughout the size range, ensuring that younger riders are not riding an unnecessarily oversized or stiff platform while larger and more powerful riders receive the strength and stiffness their frame requires.
Proven Holeshot Geometry
The Holeshot geometry has been developed and refined through years of BMX racing. Its balanced and predictable handling makes the frame easy to control while still providing the responsiveness required for competitive racing.
Integrated Chain Tensioning
The Holeshot features Meybo’s integrated chain tensioner system, making rear-wheel alignment and chain adjustment simple and precise.
The system provides accurate adjustment of the rear wheel while helping maintain correct wheel alignment in the frame. Different axle configurations are used throughout the size range to match the requirements of each frame and rider category.
Modern Race Integration
The Meybo Holeshot features a fully integrated disc brake adapter, engineered directly into the frame dropout. This eliminates the need for the adjustable and pivoting adapters used on previous generations, creating a stronger, cleaner and more reliable solution.
The solid construction provides a precise and secure mounting position for the Post Mount brake caliper, keeping everything firmly in place and making setup simple and consistent.
The Pro frames can also be used with Oversize (OS) wheels, allowing riders to take advantage of modern BMX race wheel configurations.
